I am not sure if this is the correct name. I LOVE this plant. I have taken babies off of it and shared because its so beautiful.
Can someone please tell me what it's actual name is?
I call it a Buddha Palm Plant!?!?
It looks like a Caladium to me.
I need to post a better picture. It's not Caladium, as it is a big cluster... Let me see if I can find a different picture.. Nope! I have to go take another. Will post it soon.
This one is not mine, but it looks just like it. When the rain stops I'll take a pic of the "stalks" on one of mine. That should be helpful.
Could you post your pictures on the DG i.d. forum for a positive identification?

When you took babies off it to give to your friends, was there a sort of bulb or rhizome on the bottom of the plant between the stem and the roots? Does it go dormant in the winter? Disappear below ground or just stop growing?
I agree with Kay, it looks a lot like a Caladium, and they can make a clump like that if left in one place for a few years, but the leaves look thicker and shiny, and to be honest, I've never seen a plain green Caladium.
Might be an Aroid, some sort of small Philodendron, or an EE. Maybe post your pic on the Aroids forum?
Check out the Antherium plant - it looks like it could be that, too.
It looks like alocasia cuculatta to me.
That's it GAgirl.. That is my plant. :)
Thank you all.. I appreciate all the help..
Yes, yes.. It does down completely in the winter and comes back in the spring.
