Hello! Long time no see!
It's been a long time! My name is Martyn. I joined Dave's in 2004 when I lived in Colorado. I left Colorado and moved to Portland, Oregon in 2007. Upon my move out, we got stuck overnight in a freak snowstorm in late April and I lost every single plant I was moving out to Oregon with me, including all of my beloved Brugmansias, very sad (they froze in the moving truck while stuck in Laramie.) After that, I left gardening for school, but I am ready to get back into it—it's been just too long.
I visited the Portland Nursery yesterday and bought my first Brugmansia since 2007, Jean Pasco—very limited selection. I have nothing to trade yet as I am building up plant family, so might anyone have any cuttings in exchange for postage? I haven't traded in years, but my feedback is still very valid.
I've seen quite a few names on here of folks I've traded with in the past and I hope to run into some more. Hope I still have my green thumb! Thanks for your consideration!
Martyn
CLOSED: Anyone have any Brugmansia cuttings up for adoption?
Hi Martyn!
I know that I will have burgs this fall, if you are willing to wait. They are not hardy here and I had too many to overwinter last year, so I will be looking for new homes for some of them. Just let me know if that would work for you.
Someone just posted white brig cuttings on brug forum. I will have frosty pink, dr seuss and ecuador pink cuttings in the fall. So I'll keep your contact info And dmail you in oct.
Well thank you both so much. I'll be sure to check back and meander over to the other forum ;-)
Hi Barb,
I forgot to close this thread! I do appreciate your offer, but wow, I'm will-stocked now!
Thanks!
