Please help me identify

Does anyone know if this is a moth or a butterfly?

I think that is a ladybug baby-

Most likely a moth, butterfly caterpillars are usually not that hairy.

Here is a picture of lady bug nymphs that were on my Shasta daisies in April. Totally different coloration.
