She was hunting in our woods last evening.. For our baby Eastern Phoebes. Beautiful
But I also think this may be why we have not had hummingbirds lately,, along with the hawks.

Barred Owl

They will occasionally take birds, but usually eat rodents - very good for removing any rats that might be in the area.
