November 4th

Good morning everyone!! I'm wide awake so thought I might as well start the journal for the day.
Lisa, you are so wonderfully full of energy and ideas. GOD bless you indeed. I'll bet it will be strange to have all day Sunday free. But remember to keep it a holy day and one of rest unless you are going to do that on Saturday or some other day you and your family can keep as a Sabbath. If GOD rested one day and commanded us to do the same I think we need to do that. Our bodies are designed to rest one whole day of the week or they rather quickly begin to show excessive wear and tear. I know how easy it is to say "I'll rest for a few hours" and then keep on working the rest of the day/week. But we need to honor GOD for one full day with our time and thoughts.
Horseshoe, where are you? I keep looking for your posts and don't see any. Are you ok?
Shad is with his other family for the weekend and will be back sometime late this afternoon. His mom picks him up at the cafe' now on Friday evenings to save her some driving time. She doesn't drive at night if she can possibly get out of it because she doesn't see well after dark. There aren't many back roads between us and where she lives that are good enough to make good time. Other than I-70 it's all 2 lane roads that go thru lots of little towns. Maybe Jack & I will splurge and eat out for lunch today.
