I am wondering if any of you cut your epies back before you take them in for the winter. Some of my E. Strictum, E. oxypetalum, and a few others ( esp. dragon fruit) grow so much during the season, that they can quickly become unmanageable. Looking around and seeing what I have started yet again, I will either need another greenhouse or drastic measures. Help... Any ideas?
Thanks,
Linda
Greenhouse space ? ( trying to think ahead...)
I'm afraid I am asking myself the same question.... I usually cut mine back after they bloom in the spring, cutting off any lanky weak growth from the winter months. Some I have now are so HUGE I don't really know what to do with them.
It's not just the size, it is just now that the squirrels have had their field day, I have more than I will have room for. LOL I may have to take some drastic cuts before the cold weather, but I have time to decide what to do. Just looking for ideas.
