First bloom of 2013

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

I hope all of you who got hibiscus from me get big flowers like this. It should be almost covered in a week or so. The blooms only last for that one day, but there are always more buds for tomorrow. I TRY to pick off the spent blooms every morning, but be careful if you do it, too. Many will have bees in them, and since they are closed you can't see them. POP!

Beautiful, Sybil! I need to get me some of that one of these RUs. BTW, I sent you a dmail. Hope you got it.

Yes, I did, Stephanie. Thank you. It's such a hard time. Funeral is tomorrow at 3pm. So sorry I didn't reply to your d-mail. I thought I did. Guess I thought I would l
later and then forgot.

Also, if you would like one now, I have a hibiscus potted up now. I thought I might set it out on the other side of the house, but after checking again, I realize there just isn't enough room. It's in a 2-3 gallon pot, and it's probably close to 2 feet high. I'll be out of pocket all day tomorrow, but any other day is fine. Just call and come.

No problem, Sybil. I suspected you were busy with all this.
