Can someone please give me the scientific name for this variety of millipede.
They were cleaning up several garlic bulbs which had diseased. Millipedes are about 1 centimeter long; less than a millimeter wide; have retractable horns; and are segmented with at least a pair of legs on each segment.

Your critter may be a centipede, as millipedes generally have 2 pair of legs per segment. below is some info for you.

It does resemble the Geophilomorpha family of soil centipedes
