Just moved from shade to sun, inland to coastGeorgetown SC

Hi, all! For those who remember me, I haven't been around for a while, but I recently retired and will have more time (yay!). We have just moved from Summerville, SC up to Georgetown, and my "old" garden was mostly shade. The new one is mostly sun. I have my work cut out for me and will be asking questions, I'm sure. :}

Welcome back Deb! Good to hear from you. Retired too, what good news. Have you been to Brookgreen yet? They always have such fabulous garden displays, many in full sun.

Some day I'll be retired.........

Ardesia - and that's a good idea; we haven't had a chance to get up to Brookgreen, or much of anything else so far. Still unpacking and transplanting! (Brought a couple of your wonderful hedychiums with me).
Barb, I highly recommend retirement! :) I'm busier now that I ever was when I was working full time.

I grew up here in Georgetown, but haven't lived here since I was 17 and not yet a gardener. :)
