Epi not blooming?

Vevay, IN(Zone 6a)

What is the secret to get my Epis to bloom. I have had them several years and not one have bloomed so far.

Patience and climate control. It is said that they have to be root bound but experience teaches me that this isn't true. Keep them away from freezing or from too direct of sunlight. Think of an environment like found in the upper branches of a tree. They like as much outside time as possible and consistent moisture. Don't let them sit in water and make sure they have a very porous potting material (mixture of wood chips, perlite, leaf mold, and potting soil. Fertilize monthly from Feb-Oct and leave alone Nov-Jan. Mine, if grown from cuttings, usually take four years to begin blooming. bob ((I sing to mine, also, but that's another story!)

Manka Em, Vista Sun, Oxypetalum, Strictum, Husky Boy Romeo
