CLOSED: Please help me identify this beetle like bug

Coral Springs, FL

Now that it's getting to be summer time in South Florida we are getting a lot of rain and along with that of course, comes bugs. Since we're in an older house where the seals aren't so good we tend to get a lot of bugs, i.e. ants and roaches. However, I have recently noticed these bugs (about 5 within the past 30 days) in my bedroom, most on crawling on my bed or pillow and one on my curtain. It doesn't appear to have wings, nor have I ever seen it fly, I'm not sure how many legs it has, and it is a blackish-brown color. I have attached a photo and if you could please help me identify it or give me an idea of where it might be coming from or how to get rid of it that would be a tremendous help.

Seeing as how it's on a carpet, I'd say it's a carpet beetle...
Seriously though, that is the most likely suspect (the images are not clear enough to be absolutely certain) - see http://www.ipm.ucdavis.edu/PMG/PESTNOTES/pn7436.html for detailed control recommendations.
