Anyone recognize these green lovelies? I took this pic in the shady garden by the Armstrong Browning library on the Baylor campus. I'd guess they are 12-18" tall.

I bought some earlier this year from my favorite nursery and love them, too. All of mine are doing really good in partial shade. I've found they really prefer a moist soil and droop before anything else in the beds if they get dry (probably not a really good thing for TX!). May be a bit winter tender in my area so we'll see if they survive the next year.....
I think it used to be in the genus Ligularia. I grew several plants in that genus back home in MI. It's amazing that it can do well here. I remember it wilting in MI and its not nearly as hot there. How would it do as a pond plant? Its leaves are so pretty.
