Herbs for kitchen window

I've never grown herbs indoors before. Which ones would you recommend for a fairly sunny kitchen window?

Sweet basil and parsley do well in my sunny kitchen window. I prefer the flat leaf parsley. If you use those in your cooking, they would be two good choices.

I like to keep chives.

Good suggestions: I use all of those. How would oregano do?

I have a large pot of oregano outside but I've not grown it in my kitchen window. Oregano likes a little afternoon shade here and in a most of the South, at least in zones 7 and up.
