Son found at his work, nesting on ground. He says about 5 inches, brownish tan, rounded straight beak.
Looks like a dove but too small.

Wow!! That is cool. I thought it looked like a dove and I did find the Common Ground in my book but it says it is only down south, southern most Texas and tropics. I'll see if he can get better photo. Wish he had my camera with him!! I dont see the orange on the beak but that photo is not the best. Thank you for you ID!
