Caught inside house. The four middle legs appear shorter than the first and fourth pairing. It looks like a black widow except it's brown and there is no hourglass on it. Looks like a 'brown' widow? Small, light brown and shiny bodied.

It's in the same family as the widow spiders, but a different genus (Steatoda). Bite can be painful, but it is not dangerous.
