My partner & I are both disabled. We have no family or close friends. We have 6 cat kids. It is becoming increasingly difficult for us to care for our crew. The breeder of my 3 Japanese Bobtails has repeatedly told me that when we can no longer care for them, she will take them back.. I know that time is getting close but it will tear the heart out of both of us. Pete takes care of the litter boxes daily since I am on oxygen and can't handle the dust or the exertion. However, his osteoarthritis has gotten so much worse that it is becoming too much for him. We have boxes both on our main floor and in the lower family room and he used a stair lift to go up & down but it his health now prevents him from even using the lift anymore. So when he didn't get down there the cats started using several spots on the floor. I had to swallow my pride and hire a wonderful lady to come & clean up
their mess each week. I know this is only going to get worse but it is painful to think of.
