I found a couple of these indoors last fall I believe and now found two more last night near my sons window and another two this morning near another window. They do not seem to fly, just crawl. The picture shows one on a regular size brick. I have sucked this into the vacuum as they are too big/creepy for me to catch them any other way. I live in the New England area. Hope someone can shed some light as to what these can be. I have tried to research online but am not coming up with anything. Thanks!

This appears to be a leaf-footed bug (family Coreidae). One of the commoner species found in this situation is the western conifer seedbug -
