I'm new to Texas. Moved to New Braunfels last summer. My sweet man's gonna be taking me to the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center "Gardens on Tour" in Austin http://www.wildflower.org/gardentour/ on May 11th. So excited about going to my very first garden tour in Texas! Hoping to drop by some nurseries in the Austin area while we're in town. Being from Maui I'm particularly into orchids, tropicals, bonsai, and succulents. Anyone have any favorite nurseries/garden centers in Austin?

Barton Springs is a great nursery. I live in Sugar Land and we go to Barton Springs whenever we are in Austin.
Shoal Creek Nursery, It's About Thyme. The Great Outdoors is in S. Austin on South Congress and is wonderful. Also can't recommend Green Gate in Seguin enough.!! http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/789018/
