CLOSED: Hawk?

I'm a bird novice. I presume this is some sort of a hawk sitting in the midst of my backyard.
Can you tell me what kind?

Coopers Hawk to my eye. :-)

I'd say Cooper's. The dark on the head is more like a "cap" than a "hood". Sharp-shinned have more of a hooded appearance.
