My tomatoes are planted in a raised bed. I was wondering if it would be okay to plant bush green beans in front of the tomatoes, or would the beans be antagonistic in some way?
Beans with tomatoes?
just don't plant to close to the tomatoes because tomatoes are heavy feeders
Basil is supposed to help tomatoes a lot.
Thanks! I will try beans in one part of the bed and feed the tomatoes well. I had planted the bed I usually use for the beans with onions, so would have to wait for the onions to finish before I could replant in that bed.
And Solace I will plant some basil in the other part of the tomato bed. Great idea!
I appreciate all your help.
