Help for sunburned epis?

I need some help please. We had some trees taken down this past winter and some epis that we put out got sunburned very badly. Is there any hope for saving them?

I had the same issue, but only 1 of mine got really bad. It has lots of new growth so I just cut off the bad branches. So far, so good.

Thanks, I might try that. I think i have lost 1 completely though. It was a big red too. just gorgeous.

Unlikely you'll lose it. just set it aside and soon new growth will appear from the roots. Sun maims but rarely kills. bob

Thanks Bob, They are now back in the shadier spots and the ones I cut back are callousing over in the greenhouse. I will have lots of cuttings now. We have had so much rain since I put them out, I wonder if they are staying too wet.
