Please reclaim all your tumble weeds,some are even taller than me!
If not be advised winds will be out of the north today and rest of the week,gusting to 45mph,and will be heading back south,so be careful when your outside,these are very harmful and could cause bodily damage to your health!!!!LOL

lol I grew up in Lubbock but took Mac Davis' advice as soon as I could: "Happiness is Lubbock in my rear-view mirror." I now live in the middle of Texas where there are no tumbleweeds and trees grow by accident. I do sympathize about the tumbleweeds as I remember walking home from school and running across the alleys trying to avoid being hit by the stickery things.
ONLY 45mph? Chuckle, my favorite ol song, Tumblin tumbleweeds. BE VERY AFRAID of the trucks- broadside winds make them a kite- the tail can lift off ground (no way to put enough tail on those kites...) roll over, wobble all over and just the wind sheer of passing each other can suck things into them. Most drivers may be professionals, per se, but aren't experienced these days...kids don't have the experience of wading thru a sea of tumbleweeds that can be as thick as blowing snow blocking their view of where the road went-or remind you of being on a ferry watching water roll by...
Yep Mac Davis married a gal from my hometown Wichita Ks,then I believe she ran off with Glen Campbell. The bad part of the tumble weeds here are they are full of another plant called Cockle-burs,only the bigger ones which at the moment can't think of there name,and when I go to grab them,I remember I know better but its too late then!!!LOL
Cockleburs are all we ever called em. An even better reason than sweetgum balls to wear shoes. -and trim cow and horses tails!
Well thats one thing we don't have here,but I had them in Wichita,neighbors had them all around me,but for some reason they seem to end up in my yard and the driveway!
