I just realized that the phlox pilosa and prairie phlox are the same plant. I had one in part shade and it is starting to bloom and the other I call phlox pilosa is in sun and not in bloom yet. I got these both through trades with my RU friends.I know for sure atleast one was from Josephine. Anyone with different colors than lavender?
My phlox pilosa has different leaves and blooms. My leaves seem to be skinnier, not as wide or long???
It is all the same color as far as i know, and Anna's is Phlox pilosa also, it gets lusher in the shade and also depending on how much food it gets, it will get very lush.
I have some like Anna's ans some like Stephanie's.
Mine is just beginning to bloom, of course with the rain and all wet, it doesn't look very good right now, but it will.
There are some cultivars but the ones I brought to past RU's are the "natural" form and I have only ever seen the lavender color. That's all I have.

I guess it is the same thing. Interesting that it likes the part shade better
Mine range in color and are in full (& hot!!) sun. Wonder if it has to do with soil ph??
