Easter in Vegas, from a plant point of view

Arlington, TX

Had the usual fun. But also took a day trip to the valley of fire state park. Only a few plants in bloom but they were so pretty. I saw morman tea, desert marigold (I have been trying to grow it) and a few I did not know. Oddly, no cactus to be found where we were.

Those are really beautiful, Cheryl. I love rocks and those are such pretty rocks! the mallow growth pattern is similar to our poppy mallow, is it not? I like the bronzy color of that one too. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice Cheryl, it does look like Globe mallow, dryness and heat does things to plants.

A lot of mallows look very similar. I need to look for a while to find which one that is.
