salvia species

Does anyone know why every salvia species Ive ever had, looked like it has red spider? Is it because they all have red spider? chuckl. See example below. S.coccinea, coral nymph

Marty, I have found that the pink variety of Salvia coccinea is a lot weaker and more prone to problems than the red, although the color is very pretty.

Josephine, all my salvia looks like this. Lady in Red, Black and Blue and romeriana. Little white dots on the leaves.
