Could you help me to identify this moth please?
A friend of mine has a lot of them all around her house.
They are the same color as the stucco on the house and they like the south side for warmth.
They are not as plentiful as they were - but they do get into the greenhouse.
I killed one that i found at the base of a tomato plant. Their interior wings as pink/coral color.
They are just flying about everywhere.....
Could you help me to identify this moth please?
Hello drthor...these blend in very nicely with the wall. As for me, I don't have a clue. If you don't have luck in this forum, you might try the Insect and Spider Identification forum...there are some really knowledgeable people there who can identify just about anything.
Looks like some kind of Leopard moth. Their underwings are sometimes orange. Topside is spotted white - can't quite tell by the pic. Bottom line...if they're plentiful they are pests! LOL!!!
