Voodoo lily hardiness

I live in zone 7a, can I safely leave a voodoo lily bulb planted outside all year? I read someone else in New York did this but I want to make sure.

I wouldn't do it. Too cold IMHO. I grow Konjacs but I'm in 6b. I'd say no don't do it unless you have one you can spare to lose.

I'm in zone 6a and left two of these bulbs in the ground last year. The spot was somewhat protected beneath a pine tree, but I don't think they made it. Still need to dig in the soil to make sure.
