My loquats are small this year, but they're sweet, packed with vitamins, minerals and anti-oxidants. My mother-in-law gave me a tree she called "Vispero" over 30 years ago. She grew it from seed in an old galvanized bucket. The fruit is just starting to ripen so it won't be long before the wild Red Crowned parrots and Green parakeets swoop down with all their racket to eat them.
