I have quite a few cuttings. They are in a little cool greenhouse. Should they get any fertilizer at all during these months?
Help about cuttings
No. The cuttings will lose their leaves and work on rooting. When you put them into the soil, wait a couple of weeks for them to root into the soil, then begin a light fertilizer regiment with each watering.
I just got some cuttings, and put them in water, and they are starting to do their thing. The little "bumps" on them expand, and then you put them in the soil. I wouldn't fertilize them at that point. After you put them in the soil, let them show their colors - let them grow in their "new" environment, before introducing anything else.
Good advice I would say!
