Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Good morning. We have a misty/drizzly day here. That is unusual for us. The horses have rolled in the dirt and are sort of a universal mud color but they are happy, expecially since I fed them. Most of our incredible view is gone for now, we can usually see 2 ranges of 7,000-10,000 ft. snowy mountains plus a lot of hills, some of it is about 50 miles away. Today visability is about 5 miles in one direction and 10 in another. It is still a good view. Hubby is packing for a 2 week trip to Romania. He will fly from Portland, Or. on Thursday. He and I have been gathering things for him to take to missionary friends there. They miss things like peanut butter and cheddar cheese. The mail system isn't entirely secure so if you mail them something like a camera, medicine or clothing it may be taken home by some postal employee who enjoys packages. Of course the peanut butter and cheddar cheese would never survive unless hand carried. It would make an interesting suitcase to search if the airline employees care to take a look. Today I need to get back to the outside work, there is so much to do before winter. Have a great day everyone, remember to count your blessings.
