Just wondering how late until the bullfrogs actually hibernate for the winter. The weather here in zone 5 has been mild and I still hear him croaking, just about every day. He will hibernate, won't he.......

Lori, with all the wierd weather we have it's a wonder the poor little guys know what to do!!! I am sure he will be fine! I lost's a ton of frogs last year when my pond froze!
I have my de-icer all ready to go for this year!

What do they do when there is no mud to burrow into (i.e. a preformed pond like ours)?
Sometimes they will burrow into the soil in the pots you have submerged. Usually there is some silt or leaves of some kind in the bottom of even pre-formed ponds, I would think.
