Sending out very hardwood cuttings of some of my best hybrids for those interested. This is going to require those that want them to send postage at the very least. Sending out some of my Orange, peach-orange, and solid pink hybrids. These will be sent out priority mail or better, but you must send postage for what you want. These are all seedlings of mine that bloomed within their first year and are in color. Largest cuttings are a few inches across in diameter. Smallest are just a few centimeters so please specify small, large, or jimminy crickets. Sound like a good idea? Debating on sending these out on my credit card or is there a better way? Anyway-if anyone would be interested then perhaps this will be a reality by the end of the day....Just seeing if people would be interested right now.
Brugmansia Dr.Sues x Ecuador pink and others
YOU HAVE MAIL!!! :) including a small 'handling fee':), hope that's okay.
As for size, that's up to you.

I would be interested in a couple of each of the colors you mention......smaller size cuttings (up to about 1/2 in. or so) sound good to me. Can send $5 for shipping if that's ok. Thanks.
Owen
I would love to have some of any of your cuttings. Can get postage out in tomarrows mail. New at this, so what would be a good size to start out with? Thanks.
Brugman,
Hope you have a truck to haul all the package to the post office. LOL
Hi Brugmansia, I will send you a priority stamp if that is ok let me know.
Please address all mail concerning these cuttings as Dr.X Ecuador pink as I don't read or open all of my mail.

Perfectly fine. I do ask that everyone confirm with me before sending any priority mail postage stamps, postage money etc just to be sure I have enough to send everyone some as I will not be offering these selections again. This is a one time offering of my fastest best looking Brugmansia hybrids. Only sending out my top 4 or 5 at best out of the 600+ I actually grew to blooming size. Dr.Sues x Ecuador pink aka 165 aka Dr.D will go out with each package. If you live in Canada-cost for the Global priority mail is more-generally I spend 9-14 dollars on Brug cutting packages sent to Canada.

Eric, I had to send an email through my aol acct, but it's still missytig. :)
Tig,
Already cked my email Tig, be looking forward to a few hybrids from other hybridizers as well.
((Eric))
Brugsmansia you have mail. First, thank you for your generosity and sharing of your cuttings. I'll try several jimminy cricket sized cuttings of the three varieties that you have listed if you can manage them. Expenses for shipping should not have to come out of your own pocket. I'll send you a mailing package for my cuttings plus the necessary postage for courier as I'm in Canada. Or I can send you sufficient money to cover both the mailing package and shipping, whichever works best for you.

Oh Brugmansia, You don't know how I wish I could get some of your fast blooming cuttings as this is what I need for our short growing season but I don't want to take a chance on them freezing on the way here.:{ Our temperatures are dropping rapidly. Yesterday I received my last cuttings for the season as sending any live plants now would be too risky. Thanks to Arlene I do have one of your hybrid cuttings which she sent me and I am rooting. You all are such generous people to share your Brug cuttings and I thank the people that have shared with me.

Snowhermit....those cuttings aren't going to freeze!!! unless your mailman drops them in a snow bank for a couple of days... you have to get the pink... listen to your mom..
i would love to get in on this you have mail
Oh Shoot!! Am I too late?
OH OH OH me too!!!
I would just love some, if you have enough. I'll also send some postage money along with priority mail stamp.
I hope I am not too late for your offer. I will email.
Thanks,
Jean
Eric - are there any left? I'd love solid pink. Will email
Liz
Brugmansia, Momma Arlene said I have to get the pink one but I'm probably too late as I have been chasing my 4 year old grandson all day and haven't been on the computer. If you have any left please let me know and I'll be happy to send postage.
Okay, I think I have responded to everyone who has requested Brugmansia requests. The offering is for cuttings from my Peach-orange, orange, pink, and even a single white from my collection. All repeat bloomers in their first year of growth from seed. Many set seed in first year as well. The offering is not for all of them-in other words, I want to make sure everyone has some cuttings, but can't make sure everyone gets all of my hybrids. I can send other pinks, but my pure pink is in very short supply. I can tell this is the one most of you want. If this is not okay please email me. If it is-I have only recieved a few address and lots of requests. I need addresses to send out plants as I want to have everything ready and sent out by monday. This of course means I may have to take some of you on faith and send your cuttings out before your postage arrives. Cuttings will be sent out priority mail. I will make every concerted effort to make sure everyone has more than one type of Brugmansia from my collection and or a cutting or such from another hybridizer in pink. I don't intend on offering these cuttings again to the public.

we are all very lucky, Eric, and really appreciate your sharing. I feel that any and all of us would consider it a privilege to grow any one of yours.
Ditto on tiGs post. We are very appreciative of your generousity.I hope next year I can return the gift of sharing and offer cuttings from all the wonderful plants that people shared with me this year.Thank you for sharing with us.
Eric, that brings up a question. Would you rather we not trade any of your hybrids? They are your *invention* and I'd rather know now than later.
Tig,
I would rather you hybridized with my hybrids and trade with them if you liked them.
thanks:)
Brugmansia.......I have sent two emails to you requesting your address so I can send you money for shipping cuttings. Guess you don't read your email as often as you watch this thread, so am going to ask for it here.....can't send money unless you divulge your address:)
Owen
P.S.: Still not clear on which cuttings I am eligible for....just one or what? I offered you up to $20 for one cutting from each of the five you mentioned. You haven't answered to let me know. Can't pay $20 for just one or two cuttings though:) Please clarify and send address if we can get together. If we can't, no problem here.
Thanks,
Owen

owen, did you email him through here? sending you his other email.
I hope I'm not too late - just saw this, Brugman, you have more mail!!!
tiG.....I emailed him at pejuta7@hotmail.com.....oh well.
I've emailed through both email addresses, I've not heard either way so does this indicate that you have already selected who you are going to send cuttings to and who you are not...would just like to know as I've marked this page to receive updates as they come in, otherwise I can just remove myself from having further updates to this page...Thanks.
tiG, Thanks for asking about trading . Dah, I never even thought about it. A senior moment I guess.I have a feeling there will be a lot of hybridizing going on next year with the best of the Brugs.
I also emailed him on the 30th at his hotmail account. No response.Guess he's out of cuttings.

I think he's just really busy, getting cuttings and shipping so many. Oh I do hope he hasn't ended this blessing.
don't forget, his baby is still in the hospital (as far as I know). I think Azalea is right, he's just busy.
That's right about the baby.He does have a lot on his plate right now.
How about some of you who are close to the family keeping the rest of us up-dated on Amber's progress.
hi, two weeks ago he told me Amber is a little over 3 pounds, doing well. he does have a full plate, i am always amazed when he finds time to do cuttings. maybe cause i am getting old, but working, kids, tending all those plants... seems like a lot to me. i am sure he will show back up soon.....
