We have recently been given 2 truck loads of resurrection lily bulbs from my "passed on" grandmother's garden. Other than planting them 3" to 6" a part, what else should I know about them to get them to grow??? What about the "wanna be" bulbs that are growing on the side of the center bulb, can those be pulled off and planted? I've never had any of these and have no clue what colors etc. that I even have now. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Need some help with Resurrection Lillies
Hi Pam
The only color I have seen is pink, The small bulblettes can be pulled off and planted it take two or three seasons for them to bloom.
Put down bone meal once planted and bulb food, the bulb will send up leaves right after the daffadils bloom and then fade. This is how they get what they need for when they bloom later with no leaves.
I plant mine with Irises and daylilies so there is green when they bloom.
Mine last about a week and then are gone.
I hope this helps some.
Mike
Thanx Mike,
Here's hoping that I've protected them enough from the critters digging them up and I'll add the bulb food this weekend.
So if I end up with any color other than pink, I should mark those and get lots of pictures for folks to help me figure out what I have???
I thought they were white for some reason...Oh well....if you are interested in trading some of those bulbs, let me know....I would love to trade for a few of them.
