I think it's a Solitary Vireo based on Stokes field guide, but need confirmation.
Thanks...Al
CLOSED: Help with this Vireo
Yes and no - right bird, but Stokes is out of date; the old Solitary Vireo has been split into three species now. This one is a Blue-headed Vireo (Vireo solitarius, from eastern North America). The other two are Cassin's Vireo (Vireo cassinii, from northwestern North America), and Plumbeous Vireo (Vireo plumbeus, from southwestern North America).

Thanks again Resin. What is a good up to date field guide?
You're welcome! Best to get is the latest editions of either Sibley or the National Geographic.

Thanks again.
