Found these two orange longwings fighting in my veggie garden. Hard to get a photo but here goes. Also posted in the BF forum to check the ID.

Julia Longwing (Dryas iulia) is a species that emigrates northward each year from Mexico and south Texas. Some years, when conditions are right, they can be seen with some reliability in central Texas, but usually don't hit north Texas until late summer or fall. One year (2007) I had a half dozen in my yard, although not at one time. Most showed up within a span of a couple of weeks in late October. This year I only had one in late November, although I did get a couple of reports from other people in the area that saw them as well. They were being reported in the Austin area by late June/early July. One of my favorite butterflies.
