You may remember that Sampson Thunderpaws was treated for HyperThyroid about a year ago with RadioIodine. He gets regular blood tests to check his thyroid - which is still low. However as I have brought the other two cats in for their annual checkups - each of THEM has the same, low thyroid and a year ago, their thyroid was fine!
We have put them all through a dose of Panacur for parasites (one cat tested positive) and that didn't solve the thyroid issue. All three of them act and look as healthy as can be. I haven't changed anything in the house, or cleaning products, in the past year. The vet is stumped and we are waiting to hear back from the Veterinary Endocrinologist who did the RadioIodine.
All 3 of my cats now have very low thyroid! Any ideas?
