Input needed for a greenhouse

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

A few days ago dh was surving what used to be the kitchen and dining room. he finally threw his hands up in the air and promised by next winter, i will have a greenhouse.
We have a concrete slab in the back yard that is huge. it used to be an old gararge and storage area. it also faces the south.
what would be the best way to make a greenhouse on this? ive got roughly a year to complete it, just needs some ideas on styles, etc.
thanks

You are so lucky. I have mine on just a small turnaround on our driveway - It also has a concrete floor. It's good to have some shade tho or it just gets too hot, summer or winter. You can buy shade cloth for it tho for not too much. My DH got a kit of plastic angles just the right size for the wooden frame he made of 2x2's. He wanted to use wood so he could screw or nail the corrugated fiberglass sheets to it. We got the cheapest indoor/outdoor green carpet we could find. Easier on the feet and helps hold the heat. We put a UV heavy guage liner in it also to help hold the heat in the winter. We have just a small milkhouse heater with a thermostat in it. Mine is very small, just 8x12 it still cost about $1,000. Still a lot cheaper than buying one ready made. Good luck!!
