It was reported on Facebook that We have lost a giant in the Bromeliad World today. I am sorry to say that Harry Luther passed away in Singapore today of a massive brain hemorrhage.

Wow - a giant indeed. He was scheduled to speak at the World Conference just last month but he did not. No mention was made of an illness at the time.
