Hey guys, I'm trimming back EEs and cannas-not all the way to the ground, but the ratty looking leaves, etc. I'm wondering if I can use this stuff in my compost. I know the leaves are OK, but what about those little balls/seeds on the cannas? I'd hate to have to pick them out. Oh, and I don't have a leaf shredder.

We put everything but seed pods and diseased leaves in our compost pile.
