Thank you for your thoughts. It was a bittersweet day for me...my father passed away, which was actually a bit of a blessing. It was clearly his time to go, and the end was peaceful and painfree. My sisters and I were with him for his final breath, which was just that - he just stopped. In future years, I will have the honor of celebrating Dad's life on my own birthday. He was 84. This photo was taken about 10 years ago.

Aw, bonehead. So glad your sisters were at hand for both him & you.

I'm so sorry. Thinking of you. I am also glad you were able to be with him, and with your sisters to support each other through it.
