Hot spots

I found something that works and I think is safe for my dogs . I've had a flea problem this summer and two of my dogs have bitten raw places on their back . About the size of a dime .
I thought that Preparation H was to relieve pain and deaden the itching , so had some and put a tiny bit on my finger , rubbed it on the raw spot . BAM , the spot quit itching and except for no hair , skin looked normal next day. I've used it four times this last month on two dogs . So far ,big success . Dogs don't try to lick it off , so hopefully Palm Bob won't holler at me . Also kept the tiny gnats away
