Heads up Cowtown!

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Watch out for those falling raindrops headed your way! They look determined to quench the sun today!

I almost bought an umbrella yesterday, but I didn't. Figures.

They don't work too well in Texas gullywashers anyway- just pick you up in the winds and Dorothy and Toto will have company, chuckl, 4" an hour rains are serious floaters- avoid low spots- and you'll soon discover why Texas calls flip flops good sensible shoes.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Thanks for the head's up, but we got less than a quarter of an inch. It was nice while it lasted and the cooler temps are wonderful!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

We got a bit overnight last night, but just sprinkles this am.

Teasers, watched the harvesters on the way out of Chicago- they had to quit cuz they got too much rain at a bad time, I still think we're getting weather we should have gotten in June- tho everyone else seems to think it's just early. We see.

My daughter's out visiting from Boston. She came prepared for 90-105*....now it's colder here??? Rained or sprinkled for lots of the day.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

The same here, the weather can change just like that and back again.

Milton, MA(Zone 6a)

See, in Boston it can change that much, but it'll be 40 to 0 and I wear the same parka, gloves and scarf for both temps. Here, I feel like I need different wardrobes. Last week to this week, at least.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Yup- we don't pack winter/summer clothes away, they just get moved around. It could be 80* at Christmas, you never know

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Over the past couple of days, we've picked up a total of 1/2" of rain!! Hooray! Love the rain, the clouds, and the cooler temps.
