I finally have a rose bed set to where I feel I can interplant with prerenials. In past gardens I've always included lilies. My favorite are the Chinese Trumpet Lilies--of course, it figures short me would like tall things, right!
Do any of you grow lilies and if so which ones do well here in NE Texas?
Lilies in TX
I am not in NE Tx but I have had good luck with criniums, spiders, and a few Asiatic lilies.
I've not tried the criniums yet. I'll just have to experiment. I kind of miss those Chinese Trumpet Lilies!
Thanks for the input.
How about the Formosan Lilies?...they are fairly close in appearance, give a fragrance and I was able to grow them in Duncanville for several years...
Oooo, those sound cool. I'll look for them in Plant files.
