CC
I do!! I do!!

CC,
Yes, get them out of the pod...spread them out...let them dry for a day or so....that's all there is to it....isn't this fun?

That is a great picture of a seed pod that is ready to be picked.

Wow, those were picked at just the precise best moment by the look of those brown seeds and the yellow peduncle, this picture should be archived to show the exact right moment to pick a Brugmansia seedpod.

stick me aside 3-or 4 if you would, can't pass up getting a CC original.

Congrats CC!! Is the pod from the orange flower you posted? I'd love a few seeds if you have enough to share. Maybe there's something on my trade list you'd like?

Hmm, perhaps 150 seeds in that pod? I have had as few as no seeds to as many as 600+ in a seedpod depending on species, hybrid, etc. Just guessing and everyone knows that I have bad eyesight so I get to use that as an excuse if its more like 80 or 180. LOL, seriously, great job on your first seedpod.

CC, what a day, if i had kahlua i would put some in my coffee, will toast you with my coffee instead...

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Arlene, try a little vanilla in your coffee - tastes a lot like Kahlua, without the "kick". I have a Kahlua recipe if you want it - soo easy. I have used it as little gifts.
