We have fields full of these plants in the Cuero-Yoakum area. I would appreciate it if anyone can identify them for me.
Please & Thank you.

Josephine.
Thank you so much. We have fields of it on the ranch and it is lovely but with that said, I've always noticed how sick I am when it blooms. I think I must be allergic to it.
Ragweed and Purple Sage are also blooming and I am allergic to both but haven't seen any on the ranch so I'm going to blame my problems on this lovely plant.
Also noticed it is poisonous. I always wondered why the cattle and deer didn't eat it and now I know. They are so much smarter than we give them credit for.
I've seen lots of those around here lately, too.
You are welcome Buns, I love that plant but my place is not right for it.
