I have found this spider in my house on two different occasions, it is the size of my hand. I have no idea if its dangerous but that would be nice to know because its ginormous! And I have no idea how it found a crevice big enough to sneak in.
I live in Jacksonville, NC. I have been told that it looks like a wolf spider but my research tells me they don't get that big. Any ideas?
CLOSED: Wolf Spider? The size of my hand!
It could be a wolf spider in the genus Rabidosa although some grass spiders in the genus Agelenopsis can have a similar pattern. Neither would be dangerous.
