I need help with an ID for the 2 squash/melon fruits in the photo, please.
I only plant OP seeds, and I get them from reputable nurseries. This year I bought and planted Red Kuri winter squash, Charentais melon, and spaghetti squash. It was a terrible year for most gardens including mine, but these 2 things grew where I planted my seedlings, and I don't have a clue what they are. The pale ribbed squash looks a little like Thelma Sanders squash except it is very round, not teardrop/acorn shaped, and I haven't grown any of them in years anyway.
No Charentais melons ever fruited, and I got only 1 spaghetti squash. The red kuri did decently until the squash bugs got into them.
NOID squash and maybe melon
Thanks. I was wondering if they might be small spaghetti squash. I may bake one to see how it is...
I didn't plant any white acorn squash, so apparently my seeds from Baker Creek were mis-marked.
