That's a European Starling, it's began molting into its adult plumage.
Really! I had no idea that starlings were to be found in Colorado. I once saw a flock of them fly over our house, and thought they must be starlings because it was like a black cloud. I guess molting explains his fuzziness. Thank you for your enlightening answer.
