Oh my, i must confess I have a love affair going on with Yuccas as of late. This looks like an old one! CactusJordi always posts the best plants in their natural settings. Since I cannot go myself I so appreciate them! I love looking at them!

Actually I am not so fond of Yuccas except the real geophyte [i]Yucca endlichiana[/i], which one can grow in a small place for decades.

I had to look Yucca endlichiana up. Do the flower spikes ever stand up above the plant with older plants?
I do admit that the huge flower spikes whether they hang down or stand tall is a real plus for me. So elegant, so stunning.
The flower spike of Y. endlichiana is never longer than ~ 6" and always near soil-level ... even in old plants, like this one (most likely a single plant) in habitat:
