You silly people have me laughing already this morning with all your posts.
I have to fill one of my waterers up with the garden hose and my big heifer thought she would like to try to drink it as it came out last night. I thought it would startle her if I sprinkled her nose and turned out she liked it. Then out came that long tongue to taste that water and then she held her nose in the running water.. what a nut. She is jealous if I try to pet or scratch any of the other calves. She will put her head down and gently push them out of the way and then position her head for a good scratch behind her ears and on her neck. ok,, so I have me a pet cow..
quiet morning here.. all the windows that usually stay open are closed now because of the cold so things are more quiet at night. Can usually wake up to owls, coyotes or cattle bawling somewhere in the distance.
